Sierra Service Project 2015
Thank you all for your continued support and prayers for our PB UMC Youth Ministries Program. We ended up having a team of 10 head to Stockton, CA for SSP (Sierra Service Project). There were only 7 others there for our work week, which was a different experience than we have had previous years. Prideful Wrap-up
This year is the first year that PB UMC participated at the Pride Festival and hosted a welcoming booth. Despite the downpour of rain, our enthusiastic team of volunteers were a presence of love and hope.
GriefShare Support Group
“GriefShare” is offered for those who have recently lost a loved one. It is a 13-week video seminar series discussing various aspects of the grief journey, followed by discussion. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk with you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. PB UMC Supports Pride
This year, PB UMC will be participating in both the San Diego Pride Parade and the Pride Music Festival! This will be an exciting time to share our deep and profound love and faith with our LGBTQ friends and allies. Don’t miss out!
Helper Bags
In an effort to grow our community outreach, we will be making and handing out “helper bags” filled with essentials to our homeless neighbors, along with an invitation to join us in our Wednesday night meals, as well as a list of other local homeless dining options.
