COVID-19 Update on 3/21

PB UMC cares about our worshipers and our community. For this reason, and out of an abundance of caution, we are taking important steps to minimize risk related to the novel coronavirus.

Grace, Gratitude, and Gifts

In the midst of everything happening, our “social distancing” and even some of the blame taking place (some racial, some class-based, etc.) I have been continually reminded by a quote from Fred Rogers: “Look for the helpers.” In this time of isolation, we are reminded not to give in to the darkness, but to remember the light of Christ that shine’s within us all.

Connection & Collaboration

Early this year, United Methodists were rocked with the news that a group of 16 leaders from around the denomination had been meeting for months, and were releasing a “protocol” outlining a split in The United Methodist Church (UMC).
