Mardis Gras Celebration at PB UMC

Mardis Gras Celebration at PB UMC

Please bring your family to join us at the church on the evening of Tuesday, February 17 for a pancake dinner to celebrate Shrove Tuesday. Shrove or Fat Tuesday is the traditional name for the day before Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. It is more commonly known as Mardi Gras, which is simply Fat Tuesday in French. It gets its name from the custom of marking the day with feasting before the fasting season of Lent begins.

Want to know more? Come on down to find out! Come for dinner and activities any time between 5 and 7 pm. Cost $5 for ages 13 and up; $3 for children 12 and under. We look forward to celebrating together!
