Because we are passionate about inclusion and because we recognize that many Christian communities do not feel the same way, we find the acts of sharing Christ-like love with all of God’s diverse creation a critical ministry. One way we this is by actively participating in San Diego Pride.

2019 Pride Parade and Festival

PB UMC will participate in San Diego Pride Parade this year with another fabulous float! Help us build it in the days before the parade. Then on July 13, walk with us or ride on the float! It’s a tremendous experience to share the message of God’s love with 100,000 cheering viewers.

We’ll also host a booth at the Pride Music Festival in Balboa Park on July 13 and 14. This provides an opportunity to speak directly with festival-goers about the welcome waiting for them at PB UMC.

To volunteer for any or all of these opportunities, click on the link below. And if you’re not already part of an affirming faith community and you’re wondering where you fit in with God’s children, please look for us at Pride or visit us any Sunday morning!
