Our spirited and talent-filled choir, Voices of Praise, leads us into Holy Week this Sunday with the musical presentation of Pepper Choplin’s Upon This Rock. We come alongside Simon Peter as he companions (and fails to companion) Jesus through the last days of his life. We are reminded that with all of his strengths and weaknesses, Christ chose Peter to be “the rock” upon which his church would be built.
