Today our lectionary reading from Matthew invites us to circle back around to one of the toughest challenges we face as Christians and as human beings: forgiveness. We explore the topic by way of Jesus’ words to Peter as well as the parable of the talents. What should forgiveness look like in our shared life together? What difference does it make to us? And what difference can it make in and for God’s beloved world?
