Accidental opioid overdose can happen with prescription and non-prescription drugs. A simple nasal spray with Narcan (naloxone) can reverse an overdose and save a life.
The church has received a generous supply of Narcan and is making boxes available in the social hall by the defibrillator. If you know someone who uses opioids, or if you just want to prepared to assist in an emergency, please take a box to have at home or in your car. We’ll keep an eye on the cabinet and refill it as needed.
