Our Covid-19 Response

Our Covid-19 Response

We are grateful to be worshipping indoors and we continue to take precautions related to COVID-19.  With the easing of mask restrictions, we have made adjustments to our procedures, remaining focused on caring for and protecting one another.  While those who are unvaccinated are still required to wear a mask indoors, it is now optional for those who are vaccinated.  We invite folks to make the best decision they can for themselves and those around them when it comes to wearing a mask indoors. Please keep in mind that we are an intergenerational community with adults who are medically vulnerable and small children who have not yet had the option to receive a vaccine.  If you are able to comfortably wear a mask, please consider doing so for the sake of those who are more at risk.  As always, our fabulous tech folks make it possible to worship from home via livestream for those who need or prefer that option.  To worship online, visit www.pbumc.org/live.

Our Project Grace Wednesday night ministry, supporting those who are experiencing homelessness or food scarcity, continues to provide a weekly to-go meal.  UCSD Free Clinic is now offering some onsite visits in addition to telehealth visits.  We are monitoring changing guidelines and will update our plans as appropriate.  We continue to pray for global healing related to this pandemic.
