Today’s scripture passage invites us to continue our reflection on hospitality, this week through the lens of sisters, Mary and Martha. This short passage will touch a chord for many of us who find ourselves duty bound, sometimes griping and grumbling our way through parts of our days. What did Jesus mean when he told Martha that her sister had “chosen the better part” (ouch!) and what is the invitation he extends to his beloved friend, Martha… and to each one of us?
