Please bring your family to join us at the church on the evening of Tuesday, February 25 for a pancake dinner to celebrate Shrove Tuesday. Shrove or Fat Tuesday is the traditional name for the day before Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. It is more commonly known as Mardi Gras, which is simply Fat Tuesday in French. It gets its name from the custom of marking the day with feasting before the fasting season of Lent begins.
We will be grateful for any donations toward the costs of this fun meal, and a place to make those donations will be available in the Social Hall. We look forward to celebrating together!
