Clobber Passages: Debunking Biblical Myths about LGBTQ Identity and Relationships
PB UMC will host a workshop on September 17 featuring panelists who will discuss the ways we can contextually read our sacred texts, compelling faithful Christians toward LGBTQ+ inclusion. The panelist discussion will begin at 6:00pm with dinner being served in Hughes Hall at 5:00pm. Donations are appreciated to defray the cost of the food, though this is not a barrier for attendance. Please use the Registration button above, which will help us gather a headcount for the meal and determine if childcare will be needed. All are invited to attend – the skeptics, the theologically uncertain, the LGBTQ+ community – everyone! Following the 1-hour discussion, panelists will be available to answer specific questions participants may have.
We hope that you will join us, so that together we can be the beloved community of all God’s children!
