Christmas is all about a journey – an emotional journey of faithful people bringing new life into the world, and the emotional journey we all experience between shopping and gifts and traveling and relatives and traditionally extravagant meals. Sometimes it’s hard to see the importance of the season through the busy-ness. We invite you to join us at PB UMC this Christmas season for a refreshing reminder that the Christ we celebrate can be experienced anew.
We will present three services on Christmas Eve (December 24th), at 5, 7, and 11 pm. Christmas Eve is a time for the entire family to worship together, so a family-friendly service will be presented at 5pm complete with fun paraphrasing of the Christmas story and music from some of our youngest members. Come prepared to participate in the fun!
Of course, the entire family may join together for any of our services, and our more traditional candlelight services at 7pm and 11pm will include singing of Christmas carols, an inspiring message, and lighting candles.
All three of our Christmas Eve services will conclude outdoors in our courtyard singing familiar Christmas carols around our enormous Christmas tree!
